The Association of Travel Marketing Executives (ATME), established in 1980, is a non-profit, professional association made up of experienced and innovative travel industry marketers representing all segments including: airlines; hotels and resorts; cruise lines; tour operators; online travel companies and initiatives; CVB’s; local, state, and international tourist offices; car rental companies; technology and marketing solution providers (ad, marketing, pr agencies, database, crm companies); and media executives.
ATME is the only worldwide organization of its kind to provide members with an ongoing forum for the exchange of creative ideas and effective marketing solutions within the travel industry.

Travel and marketing are inherently dynamic. Both constantly evolve as our industry works tirelessly to prosper amidst an uncertain economic climate, strained budgets, new business models, emerging media choices, and countless new technologies.
ATME is a grass-roots professional association dedicated to helping travel marketing executives become even more knowledgeable, connected, innovative and successful. Our simple, straightforward and, admittedly, quietly bold objective is nicely summarized by our Mission Statement:

Whether you work at a travel supplier, intermediary, agency, technology provider, or professional services firm, all travel marketing professionals will find a welcoming home in ATME. Integrated throughout all our activities is the ability for our members to exchange creative ideas that can help them improve their organization’s marketing effectiveness, and their professional skills and knowledge.
As ATME’s newly elected Chairman, I am thankful to Joel Chusid, ATME’s Immediate Past Chairman. Joel’s leadership, dedication, and passion for ATME helped to elevate ATME’s quality and stature -- all while doing his “day job” running Hainan Airline’s US operations. As Immediate Past Chairman, Joel will continue to serve on ATME’s Executive Committee and Board, working with me and with ATME’s Executive Director, Kristin Zern, in the running of the organization. Along with Joel and Kristin, I’m also extremely appreciative to the 27 ATME members who volunteer their time, skills, and creativity to serve on ATME’s Board of Directors.
ATME thrives on strong relationships with partners who share our seal for excellence in travel marketing. We thank our many industry supporters for their generosity and engagement.
